Draft for legal review. This cookie policy describes how Ixtora works today. It will be reviewed by counsel before launch; highlighted items are details still to be confirmed.
Effective: 26 September 2026 (draft)
1. In short
Ixtora uses a small number of essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your cart and complete checkout. We don't use advertising, cross-site tracking or third-party analytics cookies, so there's nothing to switch off. If we ever add optional cookies, we'll ask for your consent first.
3. Browser storage
Some preferences are kept in your browser's local storage rather than in cookies. They stay on your device and aren't sent to us automatically.
| Key | What it stores |
|---|---|
| ixtora:v1 | Your cart, saved-for-later items, wishlist (when signed out), compare list, delivery country, currency and recent searches |
| ixtora:recently-viewed | Recently viewed products |
| ixtora:checkout-draft | Checkout details you've typed, so a refresh doesn't lose them (session only; never payment details) |
| ixtora:cookie-notice | Remembers that you've seen the cookie notice |
4. Third parties
- When you pay, the payment provider's page or window (for example Razorpay or Stripe) may set its own cookies for security and fraud prevention, under its own policy.
- Some product photos load from an image service (images.unsplash.com), which receives your IP address as part of the request.
- Links to courier tracking pages take you to the courier's site, which has its own cookie policy.
5. Your choices
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies you won't be able to sign in or check out, but you can still browse.
